Starting small with a big vision

Here we are in our second year, FINALLY starting our blog! When RACKETPACK was first created, we had many goals and ideas. Like any new business, we had to start small, but our vision was big. We began by launching our website, featuring punk rock dog accessories and merch for humans. Throughout the year, we participated in almost 50 markets and made tons of new friends (both dogs and people). Our mission is to provide high-quality punk rock-inspired products for dogs and their humans, that reflect their unique personalities and to create a community of like-minded individuals who share our passion for punk rock and love for dogs. I think it’s safe to say, we achieved that goal.

This year, our goal is to continue focusing on our mission, while giving back to the community. There are thousands of dogs in rescues who need our help finding a forever home. We’re excited to start partnering with local rescue organizations by promoting a dog of the month of their choice to support their efforts. We will continue to collaborate with dog rescues by providing raffle items for their fundraisers, as well as donating punk dog products. That is what we are doing. Here’s what you can do to help: please check out your local animal shelter or dog rescue and see what they need. Perhaps a $5 donation is all you can do at this time. Guess what? THAT WORKS! Got an hour a week of free time to help socialize a dog? THAT WORKS TOO! Help comes in all forms and doesn’t have to be a large undertaking. Just like us, start small but keep your vision big.
